GEF IFAS will expand the afforestation area on the former bottom of the Aral Sea

GEF IFAS started formulation of the Terms of reference for afforestation of the 20,000 hectares on the former bottom of the sea. Previously the Agency afforested 10,000 hectares in the Northern part of the Aral Sea region. Particularly two years ago the Agency planted tamarisk, saxaul  and others allowed to reduce salt transmission more than two times. A Health Train Arrived in the Aral Sea region
