A Health Train Arrived in the Aral Sea region

The 2008 was proclaimed as a Year of Youth. This assumes specific attention to improving health of young people, maternity and childhood protection.
A Health train sent within the framework of the annual programme arrived in the Aral Sea region. A group of experienced physicians visited Nukus, Jaslyk and Karakalpakiya to examine the railway workers, mothers and children totaling to over 200 people. Based on the diagnosis made the patients will be provided with recommendations and referral to treatment in Tashkent medical facilities.
The medicines, sanitary and medical supplies have been distributed among medical facilities of the Aral Sea region, provided to disabled persons and families.
The physicians will stay for 10 days and visit some towns and areas of the Aral Sea region to conduct examination of local population.
